Jon Wicks, did you live in South Commons also? You are correct, I now remember Norma. I always remembered her but not her name. But they also had a younger sister. I am 50 now, her brother was maybe 1 or 2 years older than me, then Norma was my age but their younger sister was maybe 2 years younger then me. I remember that Eric was fair-skinned, (like all of them), and that he had curly hair. I lived on the 3rd floor of a three story building and they lived on the 2nd floor.

Lol! Sounds as if she might have been the child, and we all know them-including some of us, whose parents needed to keep an eye on! While it sounds intriguing and I’ll admit to being curious about what occurred, it might be a bit premature to mention it.
I say that because collectively, we are uncertain about her condition and if her family reads our comments, I’d hope we would want them to be comfortable to join in our discussion and share the insight they have. Ideally, if she is still with us, then it would be so much fun to have her join the conversation. However, if subsequent information points out definitively that she is no longer with us, then our discussion becomes a memorial. Either way, whatever her condition-above or below ground-I’m in for the duration. It seems there must be a place where she can be visited.
A question for Jon, M, and Xavier: Have you been back to the neighborhood that you describe? Has it changed much or has it changed so much that you’d have trouble recognizing it? While I used to visit the area where you lived pretty frequently (stationed at NAS in Glenview, IL), the last time I actually went south of the Planetarium was during 1972. So while I’m older than you and about 6 years older than Cynthia, it is ironic how often I encounter situations and people that confirm the world, after all, is not such a big place.

I remember her brother (Eric?) being younger than Cynthia. Unless they had another, older sibling. I remember only 3 of them from back then. Cynthia, her brother whom I remember being named Eric, and a younger sister. Once again, Cynthia being about 4 years older then me, her brother about 2 years older than me and her sister being about 1 year younger than me. I am 50 in 2014.

I don’t understand, seeing how you have so many folks on here who says that either they know Cynthia, or related to Cynthia, has no updated pic’s or no city and state where she is living. i am banking on what TVONE has said, because 9x out of 10, they are right about Cynthia,,,,and If Lawrence Hilton Jacob says she has passed, then she has passed, heck you would think he knows..Don’t cha think?

If you watch TVONE, they had all the actors on there that are still living, and tha’ts where folks found out that Cynthia has passed on. Lawrence still looks the same, just 10 pounds heavier, but looks good for his age…and Pooter looks the same, just 50 pounds heavier. One of the fellas that was a gangster in the movie passed on in a stabbing, ( light skin one ) and of course the one that threw the party in the apartment and the china cabinet busted, she was on there as well, I did not reconize her until she opened her mouth and she had the same gap in between her front teeth. But they lall look good for their age.

I wonder if this information from a few posts later is correct — ” In 1991 Cynthia Davis was the Assistant Director to a film called ” Driving Me Crazy”, in 1991 she was the production assistant in “Rock N’ Roll High School Forever” the location assistant in House Party 2 in the same year.” . Sounds more like another person of same name.

I want to thank UnSung for for trying to find out what’s going on, It was not Unsung that said she was dead. I think it was the Director who said “He Heard” she had died about 10 years ago. What is her married name? What is she doing? Is Cynthia still in the entertainment field?
